Obviously we just found out that Ehsan got the job but anyone hearing anything yet on staff? Will be interesting to see how Ehsan approaches building a staff. Will he seek out guys from across the country that he knows may have a similar coaching philosophy? I think Ehsan will definitely have his own style and coaching philosophy that is different than Haase.
Turner Battle will be one of the coaches
Wouldn't be surprised to see a GA promoted to another assistant position.
No one in mind but

Would love to have someone with UAB and state of Alabama ties. For continuality and next year will be great recruiting year

Futher an old fart with lots of experience could help with even off the court things such as scheduling
I think it would be smart to hire an older guy that can balance out Ehsan's youth. Similar to Haase and Wulbrun.
Got an article coming out shortly. There's a name you guys will remember.

I'm thinking it might be a new name. Mo Finley. That has to be it.
I'd like to see an older, experienced, grey hair bench coach join him to balance the youth. Also someone with ties to other southern programs.

So you want Wimp Sanderson?
I would like to see a big man coach.
Billy Tubbs is 81.

Ehsan's staff sounds like something you would find in Egypt from thousands of years ago.

I agree a seasoned veteran could bring a lot to the table

Beat me to it. LOL Wimp and Sonny Smith would make for a lively post game show, perhaps even draw a bigger audience than the game.
Why hire old guys? Hire young, cheap, and ambitious.
I'm thrilled I finally beat you to a Bama reference. 03-lmfao
