Josh Hagins played a lot as a Freshman. In a normal season, I'd say Andre could be one of our top players as a Freshman, but the returning talent is so strong, that any new player will have a tough time breaking into the rotation. With that said, I look for Andre to make a significant contribution to the team before the season is over.
It might take him awhile to adjust to college life, and learn our offensive and defensive schemes, but once he does, I look for him to really shine.

Who can say, but I doubt it. Who is he going to beat out? I'm not saying he won't play some, but I doubt he will be a difference maker.

When you see him play, you might change your mind. He seems to be one of those rare athletes who not only has talent, but has the confidence in his talent. I can't say how he'll do, but I wouldn't sell him short, even this next season.

You are correct, of course. He might be a special kid for us. But I still ask, who is he going to beat out? That is the problem he is facing. And I don't know that Wes will be quite as liberal with PT up and down the bench as Beard was.

He might end up in the top seven this year. That would be great with a team with so much talent returning. But he's a special player, and special players find a way to get on the court. He'll have to develop a little of a mean streak on the court. He comes across a nice young man, and that's great. I just want him to have that killer instinct once he hits the court. And I think he will. He's used to winning at a high level, and will do what's necessary to help his team to win.
