Why are these names being considered for your HC job at UAB? I would hate to think these 2 are the best UAB can do ...UAB fans these 2 have to be a joke right? April fools perhaps?
Please hire Jason Terry. I need a big laugh this a.m. Come on UAB, you have to be able to do better than these 2 guys? I know Rick turned you down but we really need you guys to make a high profile hire to continue the success you have built on. Dont screw this up.

You know this? really? You believe anything that might make you feel better about your hire. We are interviewing candidates, of which "NO ONE" including "SLICK RICK" has been offered the job. UAB will be fine.

Pretty standard that we have to interview at least one SEC assistant coach (usually a former AL or Auburn player), Terry had some friends in Birmingham that pushed for an interview, our AD is in Houston, why not see what he has to say?
I heard Ellis Johnson.....

This and a nice marketing ploy. That interview news was scrolling across the ESPN ticker all night.

He made 3 comments which ridiculed the idea of Jason Terry as UAB's HC, which isn't going to happen anyway. He didn't say anything negative about the Blazers.
no one named Chuck Persons has interviewed for the UAB job.
I'd gladly take Jason Terry over Rick Stansbury.
UAB fans....are there any names being considered with previous ties to the program?
I think Jason Terry would be a pretty decent hire. He'd be a damn good recruiter, he knows the game and knows how to win. Yeah, he lacks experience as a college coach and there would be a learning curve...but I'd do it for the marketing alone. Imagine the buzz it would create.
Lord, coaching searches are such a damn circus. I can't wait for this one to be over.
It might take Terry a year or 2 to figure things out but I don't think he would be a disaster hire, with that said I really don't see Terry being hired at UAB.

It's just like 2 years ago when Hamrick hired D'Antoni, everyone and their grandmother laughed at the hiring until he proved he knew what he was doing and then no one laughed and a few probably hope and prey they only play us once. I think Terry would do the same.
No Terry or Person for UAB ....according to Scarbinsky
Saw where UNLV swept up Little Rock's coach quick. I was hoping UAB would have a look at him.
Felton wants another crack at HC somewhere, according to BG's paper last week. Could he be in play?

Not that I've heard (not that I've heard much).
Driscoll could be an excellent choice.
