Whatever it is its old news now! It's been sitting on the editors desk for a few days.
My guess is its nothing about the stadium but about that RB transfering from UCONN to ODU. But then again he has never made this big of deal about a transfer before.
The transfer isn't really big news. I assume they were waiting for ODU hoops game to end.
If this is what I think it is, I like it.
It's on the pilot ticket now. New 25k seat stadium announced.
Ballard said the stadium could eventually be expanded to 35,000 seats.

25k is disappointing but being that it can eventually go to 35k is great. However it being done in 2 years would be impressive..

I love the proposal, makes sense and Ballard is doing us a very big favor in terms of timelines and costs
Short of some miraculous 50,000-seat stadium tied into a Big 12 invitation or something equally as wacky, this is probably as good as we could hope for. 25,000 is plenty fine for CUSA, expandable to 35,000 puts them in the AAC neighborhood.
124 million for less than 5000 more seats. Can't say I'm impressed.

And additional suites. And the potential for expansion. And an actual college stadium as opposed to high school facilities.

Do you really believe that? If anything, ODU has probably already agreed to the proposal and let this leak in order to gauge fan reaction.
The stadium looks great and am glad a local company will (probably) land the contract.
I am kinda surprised Broderick has not seen this.
