If so, tell us what you think of his ability and how he will fit in with our program. He plays at a high level of basketball with one of the best programs in the state, so he's playing against good competition. He's reputed to be a point guard, so in addition to shooting the basketball, how is his ball handling, defense, court vision, things like that. Will he be ready to step in and contribute his first season? I'd like to read an honest evaluation from someone who has seen him play.
I saw him play one game, a blowout against Siloam Springs so I don't know how much of his game I acyually got to see. He played point guard the whole time he was in. I can honestly say I've never seen a player to compare him to. He's very strong and thick. He's a good shooter and very high basketball IQ. It was hard to tell against the competition but I would say he may not be as quick as a lot of guards but there won't be any that can body him up either. My friend coaches in the same conference and said Pippins killed them all year, they had no one who could stop him. I think mainly he's a winner and will do whatever it takes to win. He will be a solid player for us. I think he can compete for some time next season although we don't have many gaps to fill.
