Regarding our bullpen philosophy this year; IMO that has a lot to do with ODU's hiring of Mike Marron from Stony Brook as Pitching Coach. He seems to be doing a very good job of both keeping our starter's pitch counts down, and as you said, using a lot of relievers to keep the opposing lineups from finding their groove.
This should be a fun series. I am really looking forward to it.
BTW, for Monarchs fans, if you didn't know, all three games will be broadcast on STAR 1190.

Matching up against Rice is always a chance to measure up and see how far along the team has progressed.
