Tulsa: TU(w)
Tulane: TU(s)
Temple: TU(e)

Best line from the article is the last one:

"Montgomery has Evans on a trajectory to obliterate the competition in 2016, much the same way his prized studs of the past steam rolled through defenses and rewrote the record books.....without mercy."
Sweet! What's the "w" for? West?

I'm down with that.
I don't understand some of this article. Why mention Keenum in relation to Montgomery? Montgomery was at UH from 2003-2005 and Keenum didn't arrive until 2006 and he redshirted that year.

Even if you mention Keenum, he wasn't CUSA MVP 2008-2009 as listed. He was MVP in 2009 and 2011.

Don't hate us cuz ya ain't us.

Just because we have a better coach and quarterback than you do doesn't mean you have to get all jealous up in here.
How about we just call you the Three Ugly Sisters?

Not possible. If we were ugly women, we would be from Cincinnati.
Too many TU's. We need to get rid of a couple.

It's a weirdly and selectively written article.

He mentions that he "lit up" Memphis and Paxton Lynch, which is OK. However he fails to mention that Memphis had more passing yards, 60+ points, and won the game. Not a big deal, but it's not exactly an honest presentation of what happened on the field.

Not a big deal, it's just a bit unusually written. Good luck to the Golden Hurricane.

Is typing Temple, Tulane, Tulsa too taxing that we really require shortening them?

No, but it makes me feel like one of the cool kids if they're shortened.

Actually you get used to just saying "TU" for your school so it might be a good option to distinguish one from the others. Idk.

I could enjoy being a cool kid too, so let's use the abbreviations. :)
