Not only did the Little Rock Baseball team get an actual story in today's ADG, but there was also reference to the Trojan's taking the weekend series over the #16 ranked Ragin Cajuns. On top of that, there was a teaser for the story on the front page of today's sports section of the ADG.

Is it just me, or is anybody else beginning to notice a shift in attitude towards Trojan Sports at the ADG, including the Sports Editor? True, they haven't come around to calling us Little Rock yet, but I think that even Hall has recognized they best get involved in covering a program that is the talk of the city!

A couple of days late but better late than never! 03-yawn
Our basketball team got great coverage down the stretch run. Not that it's an excuse, because the Demozette has treated us like a stepchild for years, but they did step up when we started winning. There was a lot of excitement in the city for the Trojans late this season, and maybe, assuming nothing changes next year, we can sustain our winning ways and build on that enthusiasm. Maybe at some point they'll even begin referring to us as the "Little Rock Trojans".

Almost everyone loves a winner. And we no pigs in either of the two mainline tournaments, they didn't have much choice. Had the pigs been in any tournament, they would have cut down on our coverage.

"Cut down" is a kind way of expressing it.
Sort of like neutering instead of cutting $%^# off. Sounds much kinder.
The bandwagon is rolling and we will see better attendance (and so far performance) for all sports as a result. Thankfully we have a marketing guy running the show, making sure that "Little Rock Trojans" is top of mind in the metro. Much different than 1986, thanks to Chasse and technology.
