Let Rudd work this out. We don't need a cub reporter digging to find stuff that really doesn't matter to us but raises red flags to the outside world. It is what it is.

An agent from Ft Smith, AR? Come on.
I don't disagree with the sentiment but that's basically telling someone not to do their job.........
This is a critical time in Tiger Athletics---the athletic department needs to get their **** together.
what needs to happen is exactly what's happening

Whoever gave them the right to print crap like this. The government should step in and stop them.

True, but if the CA guys would rather cover the B12 than what's left of an American, think about it.

They do have the right. What is their purpose?
If they can't handle the Memphis media then they have no business in joining a P5 conference. The CA has always been super easy on the Memphis basketball team and has always given it an insane amount of coverage.

Like many of us. Keep it stirred up.

Cub reporter? I am not saying that was the dumbest part of your post because the rest is absurd too but..............
CA is just doing its job.

I appreciate that.
we are an elite program when it comes to having negative headlines come from its local newspaper

I agree. 100%. Which means they must be comfortable with the implications to themselves, the University and the city ... at this particular time.

If the cub reporter had been digging in 2009, UK would have never hired Cal because the CA reported the NCAA was investigating the basketball program.

Matters to me. That's why I pay my $5 per month to the CA. Fascinating what we find when a good reporter does his job.

And Marc Perrusquia is no cub reporter, as you should know. Perrusquia did the reporting on the rape kit backlog story, for which he was recognized. He does deeper investigative pieces, not just sports.

Who is currently suing (or trying to) directors of the school district's board for changing one of the high school's mascots from the Rebels to the Mavericks...

Interesting note, I believe Coach Norvell's wife is also from Fort Smith...
