Any predictions? I really only follow Michigan Hockey so I'm not caught up on the national scene.
LOL at Notre Dame having to play Michigan in the NCAA Tournament for two different sports
Hockey East - 6 bids, 1 first seed
NCHC - 4 bids, 2 first seeds
ECAC - 3 bids, 1 first seed
AHA - 1 bid
WCHA - 1 bid
B1G - 1 bid

Hello from London.

It is ok for ND to play Michigan twice as long as it is in the playoffs and it can beat the Skunkbears twice.

All the HE and NCHC team left are capable. Quinnipiac is also a potential natty. The Big Ten has been so weak, so Michigan is not used to playing strong teams. Michigan has a greal first line, but little else.
Maybe one day bemidji st will make it really a great school and area But I'm pulling for umd to win it all.
Well since Michigan is the Big Ten rep, I'll be cheering for North Dakota.
Go PC! Lets go for the repeat!
Holy...at the Big Ten being a 1 bid league.

Not really a surprise the league was terrible this year besides Michigan. Hopefully we add some affiliates soon or some other big ten teams move to d1 hockey.

The B1G needs to add quality teams and fire some coaches at Wisconsin and Michigan State, as those coaches have absolutely tanked those programs. In contrast to basketball, college hockey coaches rarely get fired. Last year, I think UND was the only school to hire a new coach and that was because our former one was hired by the Flyers.

Penn State is an example of a great hockey program start that still hasn't paid out with an NCAA hockey appearance. Iowa, Nebraska, Northwestern, and Ariz St will only further weaken the B1G.
I would think that most B10 fans, and those that actually make the decisions on expansion, would be more interested in the ND's , North Dakota and Notre Dame than Arizona St. I'm not sure if there is a D2 school that all the B10 could agree upon
Another year Miami hosts the Cincy regional, another year we miss the tourney (the other being 2014). Sigh...
No Alabama Huntsville
1st game in the books.

UND beat Northeastern 6-2

Northeastern had only lost like 1 of 20 after a slow season start.
Mnn-Duluth beats Providence 2-1 in 2ot. There will be a new champion.

Michigan beats Notre Dame 3-2 in ot.

Hockey East is 0-3 so far.
BC beats Harvard 4-1

BC vs Duluth and UND vs Mich tomorrow for trips to Tampa and the Frozen Four

The otherror regional start tomorrow.
