Please, please, please let this come to pass...

As a Blue Raider fan for getting close to five decades now, I have seen so many opportunities laid in front of the program that were failed to be seized upon, it is ridiculous. What are the odds?

As much as I enjoy giving the muts grief, beat the crap out of Booheim today!! 04-cheers
Boehiem's wife has a connection to Bowling Green, and he's been on our local sports show before. That being said, I certainly hope Middle wins today.
Boehiem is that squirty turd that gets a flushing upon exit....

just win baby.....good luck to you guys today....
Good luck to the Raiders today - crush the orange.
Let's make some fresh squeezed ORANGE JUICE today! Crush the orange!
This is probably my favorite article written so far.

They had been so cool. They had shocked the world, yes, but they had not shocked themselves, and so as 15th-seeded Middle Tennessee walked off the court after Friday’s fearless and complete victory over No. 2 seed Michigan State, the Blue Raiders carried themselves more like, say, a No. 9 seed toppling the No. 8, rather than only the eighth No. 15 in NCAA tournament history to win a game. They smiled and hugged, but they did not bounce off the walls. Their feet didn’t leave the ground. Within minutes their brilliantly named sharpshooting guard, Giddy Potts, was dispassionately telling reporters in the locker room about the unfinished and even more improbable business of advancing further still. “We just made history,” he said then. “It's a big deal, but it's not a big deal really.”

Middle Tennessee Believes it Will Continue in the NCAAs
Great article! Go MTSU!

*Boehiem's second wife, i.e. "Trophy Wife" is hot, as they are suppose to be. His first wife, the one who married him before he made millions and supported him through all the lean years of coaching, was not.

As long as they've got their spine they'll be fine. A little REM reference for y'all...

I like how Upshaw said this was big deal for a small school like MT... isn't their enrollment several thousand more than 'cuse's??!

Yep, enrollment at Middle Tennessee is a couple of thousand more than Syracuse, I believe.

Small school in terms of basketball history. MT is a huge school size-wise, but so is Arizona State, for instance. Yet they are no power school in hoops.
WKU knocked Boehiem and Syracuse out of the Tourney around 1978 and I think it was in Nashville. Go MTSU
