It wasn't the way we wanted to go out, and certainly wasn't the way the team and coaches wanted to go out. Coach said we win or we run out of time. We ran out of time. I'm not sure anyone could have beaten them today. Niang is one hell of a player. So proud of our guys, and women. What a year for Trojan basketball. Some may not think Foley and Beard are the best coaches in the league, but someone is going to have to prove they aren't. We know Foley is, and nobody has ever done as better job than Beard taking over a losing program. Hats off to our coaches, players, and Chase Conque and the administration. Let's concentrate on keeping Beard for a while longer. He's done more for the reputation of the city in one year than all the politicians put together.

Amen to that!
A good Big 12 team is usually going to beat a good Sun Belt team, and ISU played very well today. Niang will be an All-American, and he took us to school. No shame in that. He is an awfully good player. We had a good season. Now we can see what happens in recruiting.

If he's not an All-American, then they need to do away with them. And he took us to school, and at times made us look like Ned in the first reader. They've got on hellava team. Haven't seen or heard any stats, but, I do remember the TBS crew say that they shot the tra very well.
They hit over 10 threes and shot like 55%

We just caught them on a a great night. We scored about our average points. Man, they hit a bunch of outside shots.
I may have heard it wrong, but I thought they had hit at least ten in the first half. I believe they had shot 54% to our 42% in the first half. That's all field goals, not three pointers specifically.
You are probably right. I heard it in there at some point and never felt like it slowed down.
Think I heard on FOX16 that I-State was 11 of 21 for the game from the arc. Damn nice shooting. They probably wouldn't shoot like that again, and we probably wouldn't shoot that poorly again. But, they're no doubt better than we are, and I'm sure Purdue is too, like Notre Dame probably was also, but it's game and it's winner take all. We took Purdue and Notre Dame, and got taken big time by I-State today. Still proud to be a Trojan fan..
