Barf. Hindsight is 20-20 but I didn't like the bunt there. Chandler, with his speed, scores from second on just about any single. Take your 3 cracks at getting one.

This. I am not sure why we willingly give up so many outs or why people desire us to do so. Maybe our hitting is so suspect that 2 or 3 runs a game generated by a single and a series of bunts is the most optimum use of our talent, but good gosh, we ought to be better than that.

Our bunting is more suspect than our hitting. But to Grayson's credit he got down a nice one.

You still have two cracks at getting one (assuming they even record the out on the bunt, which needs to be qualified in college baseball), and now he scores from any non-popup ball in play with your best hitter up...
Both sides scoreless in the 6th.
