In negotiations with free agents, the Rams are claiming to be a Missouri based team. They are doing this to evade the more expensive California workman's compensation laws. The NFLPA is advising free agents to avoid the Rams. As always, Stan is such a class act.

Tempest in a teapot. The Rams actually saved some players several % in state income tax on March bonuses. And regardless of contracts, they can't evade CA workers comp requirements once they move here officially (at the end of the month), and they've acknowledged that. This is silly.

There's some silly tax you have to pay in California for out of staters as an athlete, or so I read.
