Didn't the Super Bowl participants actually lose money playing in that game?

Tempest in a teapot. The Rams actually saved some players several % in state income tax on March bonuses. And regardless of contracts, they can't evade CA workers comp requirements once they move here officially (at the end of the month), and they've acknowledged that. This is silly.

There's some silly tax you have to pay in California for out of staters as an athlete, or so I read.
