My guide says WABM is showing Pitt vs UNC.

Is this first UAB game not televised?

Of course I'll be at the Arena like any green blooded fan would, but wanted to record it if possible.
UAB and C-USA have handled the promotion of this tournament in a very poor fashion. It took until about a week ago to decide a time for the games. No one has a clue if the games will be televised or not. The local TV stations were also in the dark and had to scramble at the last moment with time issues too.
The commissioner of C-USA should be ashamed. That is where the blame should be placed.
I just hope out team performs well. I'll be there supporting them. This UAB team has had a marvelous season and I am very excited for our games starting today.

The tip times for each seed were decided and released months ago.
I've found it difficult to get to quick easy tournament info by Googling on my iphone. Googling CUSA Tournament should get you to what you need immediately. Quick info for mobile devices seems badly done or non-existent, unless I'm missing something. Brackets, pricing, purchasing, game times, broadcast info, directions, parking etc. should all be super easy to get to on mobile device.

The tip times were decided months ago. The question for me involves when and where was the release? Just finding the brackets on C-USA website was like looking for needle in haystack. The times were posted there I agree. However, those times have always changed over the past 25 years at every C-USA tournament. NEVER, other than on this message board have I heard anything about UAB possibly playing at noon. It was NEVER mentioned by the local media or by UAB athletics until about a week ago.
I take it back. Marshall does not have the whiniest fans in CUSA. I think UAB does.

That's when everything was finalized. Should they have been announcing if x happens then UAB plays at noon, if y happens they play at 200, etc? There is a bracket with times on it. There are also standings on every major sports website. The conference also announced the set bracket times for this year. It feels like we sometimes just look for a reason to complain around here.

I agree with you on that. It's very hard to find basic CUSA tournament info. You should be able to find everything you need by simply Googling it, but that's not the case. This is 2016. The conference needs to get on board.
This post is not about complaining of whining. I'm just making several points. The C-USA commissioner used horrible judgement in the first place. Then UAB athletic department dropped the ball on passing out information.

There is nothing wrong with a business man's special, kids day at the park or Rickwood classic in the middle of the afternoon. However, someone might want to inform the community about it well in advance.

This will likely be the last C-USA tournament in Birmingham for a while. The media and C-USA will blame Birmingham fans for poor attendance.

I Hope UAB fans show up in big numbers today. We need them against a very good Western Ky team.
Cusa didn't decide the start times. The schools voted. And UAB HSS sent out emails and has been all over social media. If you are uninformed, that's on you.

And I have been able to find anything I needed on Google
It's been covered by every local news channel, WJOX, al.com, the C-USA website, Twitter, Facebook, BlazerTalk... I really have no idea how you couldn't know about the game if you follow UAB basketball.
Maybe he wants town criers
the games were on Altitude 681-1 on Directv last night

Past C-USA tournament brackets have been posted for entire basketball seasons. This has been the case for the past 25 years. In prior years those tip times were always tentative and changed after seeds were known to place host school into evening time slot. I agree those brackets were posted all year. I still feel 95% of UAB fans had no idea of the straight brackets until the past week or so.

UAB needs to win and take advantage of the extra rest.

I took vacation time off to attend the tournament. I guess several thousand other Blazer fans that can't make the game are really stupid and uninformed. All UAB fans should spend 24 hours a day on this message board like Memphis Blazer. We are all so dumb.
I agree with the last sentence
