Iona defeats Monmouth to get the MAAC auto bid. The question is for Monmouth, as it would be for Little Rock, will they get an At Large from the NCAA Committee? Lunardi thinks no but I'm not so sure re Monmouth. They have been media darlings all year.

UNCW wins the CAA over regular season champ Hofstra and therefore another auto bid to the NIT goes to Hofstra. If Monmouth doesn't get an at large, then two autos to the NIT were taken tonight.

It wouldn't break my heart if their side show stayed home.

Lunardi was just on ESPN. He has Monmouth in, as well as Wichita State. If he is right, a couple of SEC teams may be out.

That's what a lot of these guys don't consider when they are on game broadcasts saying this team or that team only needs to win one or two in their tournament and they are in. It doesn't work that way. There are a ton of moving parts.
I watched the game and Monmouth had like 17 road wins, I think they said

I guess that's a couple more than us. Still think we would be right there with them if not for the AppSt loss. We just have to take care of business in New Orleans.
