Nick Norton, UAB, So., G, 6-10, 175, Bloomington, Illinois
Lee Moore, UTEP, Jr., G, 6-4, 175, Kennesaw, Georgia
There are a couple of names missing that could have been there - Elmore from Marshall, Draper from FIU. Not too many quibbles this year.
How nice is it to see 3 UAB sophomores named All-CUSA? We could be extremely good the next couple of years!
I'll have to check but this may be the most we've ever had on all three teams
My, My...Nick has REALLY grown...
You can toss out old CUSA & probably the Great Midwest from the mix.
Way too much talent for us to get 4 on the first 3 teams.

Even in the Steve Mitchell days we only had probably 3 make the team with Steve, Jerome, & Archie.

Yeah it would be in 82 with Giles Robinson etc or 86.
AJ & Jamarr 1st team 2010-11 Cam Moore 2nd team . Looks like last time 3 made it.

2008-09 Vaden & Delaney 2nd team, Kinnard 3rd team.

2nd team Sunbelt 86-87 James Ponder Eddie Collins Tracy Foster - 1986-87

Not sure but it looks like Great Midwest & Sun Belt did not have a 3rd team (or at least one that the media guide referenced)

Looks like the only times above where 3 were on the team. None showing 4 from what I see.

On a side note, didn't see Archie Johnson winning any 1st or 2nd team awards. Wouldn't have expected that.
I'm a little surprised to see Cokley on the second team and Lee on the third. Based on conference play, they should probably switch places.

Who votes for this these awards? Coaches or writers?
Season stats, including non-conference.

Cokley 408 points, Lee 330
Cokley .547 fg avg, Lee .494
Lee 29-84 3 pt fg .345, Cokley none attempted
Cokley 21 blocks, Lee 94 blocks.
I think it could have gone either way with Lee and Cokley. Cokleys numbers kind of fell during conference play and Lee is definitely more of a versatile player than Coke. Norton may be third team but I could argue that he's the MVP of this team.

Wait! I thought he sucked? One of our posters still wants him benched. 02-13-banana
I believe he's referencing the 6'10" stat in the listing...

Maybe that's why he doesn't like Norton. For a 6'10" point guard, he doesn't use his height enough.
04-cheers
