Having one of our better guys missing weigh in didn't help.

I thought one of the wrestling experts said we were a better tournament team than a dual meet team? What a disappointment.

Jason is a good guy and does great things for the wrestling community but I am not going to say this was a good tournament team. Even if we didnt have our 133 disqualified we would still place 6 or 7 at best.
Richardson career comes to an end.

No shot at NCAA?
In theory, this should have been a better tournament team, which means when you have hammers, you score better in larger tournaments. I wouldn't have expected more than a 4th place finish at best this year. Smaller tournaments mean less opportunity for points.

However, this season -- and this tournament especially -- has just been a forgettable one. Worst season in a long time. Still a chance for a couple of All-Americans in two weeks.

Disappointing is a good way of putting it.

I will wonder if Kevin Beazley olympic redshirt affect the dynamics of the upper weight classes.

His weight class only had 5 qualifiers. He finished 6th
Dechow about to go down.
Dechow takes 2nd place and does not repeat as the MAC Champ.
ODU finishes the MAC Tournament in last place. We send 3 wrestler to the NCAA Tournament.
