Our old conference mate, the Central Florida Knights, return to Reckling Park sporting a 6-4 early season record, but limping after losing their last four games. They opened the season beating up on Siena x 3, Bethune-Cookman and North Florida at home, outscoring them by a combined 53 - 22 score (averaging better than 10 runs per game), then after beating TAMU-CC to open the Corpus Christi tournament, they lost back to back games to Texas State and Michigan State before losing a pair of home and home mid-week games top #1 ranked Florida.

Tonight, Jon Duplantier goes against So RHP Cre Finfrock (2 starts, 1-0, 12.0 IP, 3.00 ERA, .136 BAA, 6 hits, 4 BBs, 19 Ks. He's clearly a power pitcher with a very high strikeout frequency. Their Saturday starter, Jr RJP Robby Howell has even more impressive stats (2 starts, 1-0, 11.2 IP, 0.00 ERA, .154 BAA, 6 hits, 3 BBs, 10 Ks).
