The worst team in the Sun Belt. Only team already eliminated from the tournament. But, in preseason they won at South Florida, at Denton vs UNT, beat Southern Miss, and took Ole Miss to overtime in Oxford. Maybe the Belt isn't as bad as some seem to think.
If all the teams in the Belt could play some of these "big-time" teams at home instead of on the road, our conference RPI would be significantly higher. We were the exception this year, with a lot of road wins. But not many teams in any conference can win consistently on the road. We are unfortunately in a league where our teams have to play money games to exist, so our RPI looks like we're bad teams, which overall we're not.
