I'd like WKU & Marshall to both fall in the opposite half of the bracket

I'm with you. Give me Charlotte, Rice, NT, & MTSU anyday over those two.

I have no problem with us playing anyone in this conference

Agreed.

If we are not good enough to beat anybody in our league right now, we have no business in the NCAA tournament. However, I will have to say after two very close calls vs. Marshall, I would rather not play them in the CUSA tournament. I don't feel real good about lining up and beating them for a third time..

We played and beat 3 good teams last year in Legacy with a decent team. The stakes are higher and we are better this year. UAB needs to play and beat the best teams CUSA has to offer. NCAA seeding will benefit if so.
I want Tech.
MTSU plays the FU's, the same as us. They should go 2-0.

ODU should go 2-0 as well with games at UNT & Rice.

La Tech has to play at Marshall and play at WKU. Tech could go 0-2, 1-1, or 2-0

Marshall gets USM to go with La Tech, so they will go at least 1-1, and maybe 2-0.

How I think it will shake out :

#2 - Marshall - 13-5

#3- MTSU - 13-5

#4- ODU - 12-6

#5- La Tech - 12-6
Kinda feel like teams have figured out Marshall the second time thru the conference schedule. I think if it comes down to ODU vs Marshall to advance Jeff Jones and ODU will figure out a way to stop 'em...

I think so. I like ODU on a neutral court. Their defense is just good enough to keep it close no matter who they play. Also, never under estimate a team with seniors. Freeman and Bacote will be determined next week since they have no real chance of making the NIT.

7-10 seed still a toss up! I've been reading where other schools fans think we are just going to roll through this tournament. I have seen us lose many times on Thursday. That being said I really don't want to see WKU on Thursday on Saturday yes.

Rice/FIU 8 & 9 would be the best case unless UNT can take over Rice as 8/9.
According to the CUSA board, the whole tournament is a "toss up".

There are either a lot of basketball-ignorant or delusional fans in the conference. We may not win it, but when the team that wins the regular season by at least three games is hosting the tournament, it is not defined as a toss up.

It's as silly as the Golden State saying they are motivated to win because they don't get respect.
Top half of conference seems to be playing well...
its a "toss up" in the sense that there are several different teams that CAN win it without it being much of a surprise. but a true toss up is one with no clear favorite. as MB stated, there is a clear favorite
