Quote:Rev. Al Sharpton told attendees at a Center for American Progress Action Fund event Thursday he would flee the country if Donald Trump won the election, in order to avoid being deported by Trump.

Sharpton, a Democrat, had positive feedback for many of the Republican presidential candidates until he got to Trump.

“If Donald Trump is the nominee, I’m open to support anyone [else], while I’m also reserving my ticket to get out of here if he wins, only because he’d probably have me deported anyway,” Sharpton told attendees, who responded in laughter.

Sharpton, who has participated in various national protests condemning police brutality, did not explain why he thinks Trump would deport him, though both New Yorkers have publicly shared their differences of opinion on various issues.

More votes for Trump...

The world will be a better place when that piece of trash dies. He is of zero human value whatsoever.
Please. Don't tempt me to vote for Trump.
Apparently people aren't paying attention to Sharpton anymore.

So Carson and Trump are dealing with audits and this crook hasn't been audited at all...even though we know he didn't pay taxes!!

Thats what Sharpton and a few others need to be worried about. Their protection will soon be gone.

We don't know much of anything because it's a private matter. Reports are that Sharpton owes some money and that he is working with the IRS, which many folks do, to pay it back.

There are numerous reasons why this happens and they aren't all nefarious.

He's paying what he owes over the period the IRS is allowing him to pay. It's SOP for any taxpayer. As long as you work with them, they will normally keep you out of jail so you can actually earn the money to pay them what is owed.

He was a one percenter. Except, unlike almost all 1 percenters, he decided he was above paying his fair share.

Obviously that is true. He chose not to be responsible (unlike the majority of tax payers) and decided not to pay his taxes or his fair share. His excuse doesn't matter, because it all comes back to his choice not to believe he should have reserved enough money to pay his taxes, like the rest of us.
Al has had a lot of companies he sets up, which are shells anyways, shut down for refusing to pay taxes.

He's a real crook when you look at his total body of work.

This. And a lot of his "businesses" have hurt a lot of Black people.

Let me explain this again. YOU DO NOT KNOW THESE FACTS FOR WHICH YOU ARE ASSUMING! These are private matters and Al has not released the exact details of them. You're basing your comments on reports in the newspaper from questionable sources.

Let me explain this again. FACT: AL DIDN'T PAY HIS TAXES. For whatever reasons, Al decided he did not have to pay an amount of money in taxes and it turns out that he did. Therefore, he didn't pay his fair share. And, if he is on a payment plan, we are still waiting for him to pay his fair share. You really don't need any more facts than that.
The companies being administratively dissolved are well known cases and public.

I'm still waiting for Rush Limbaugh to leave. He said if Obama was elected, he would move to Costa Rica.
Trump would probably want to run this as an ad. While certainly it would appeal to racists, I know a fair number of minorities for whom this would be a reason to vote for Trump.
