They are 12-13 and 6-10 in conference. They are 4-6 since we last played them, but are coming off back-to-back wins over UL and at Ark State. They will likely start 6-8, 6-7, 6-7 across the front line.

They have three scorers averaging double figures, led by Emani Gant at 13.5. He shoots 50.3% and is also their leading rebounder at 7.5 per game. They are even with opponents on rebounding average. They appear to have two main 3-point threats, and after that not much at all.

RealTimeRPI picks us by 23. Sagarin has us by 18.

This game would lock up the undisputed SBC conference championship for the FIRST TIME EVER!!!!

When I start looking at this as a "sure" win, I remind myself they took as to overtime at their place.

Their big guy is a handful. And they have a couple of pretty good shooters. No time to go to sleep. But, we have a LOT to play for in this one.

We escaped their place, and they're playing really well right now. Not an automatic win by any stretch.

Trap game. We need to play championship ball to secure the W. So far we are doing that with little let-up. GoTrojans.

CBS has us by 12 1/2.

They gave us all we wanted. Sound, well coached team. And some talented players. I'm surprised their record isn't better. But we came through when the game was on the line. Great win for our program.

We were a little shaky against the press at the end, and it's not the first time we've not handled the press well. We shot the three great, and made the free throws. Texas State looked like a much better team than their record. I'm surprised that they didn't have a better record in the league. Our guys don't quit, but they sure had me worried the last four minutes or so.

Someone on the Sausage board also said that we were not good against the press.
