I prefer Warren Nolan over any other bracketolgy.
Nolan lists Temple as an 11-seed, and this bracket was drawn prior to the Owls' 74-55 loss @Tulsa the other night. So they might not be in if he drew up a bracket right now.

But even so, I now think the AAC is looking at either 3 or 4 teams in the Dance instead of 2, which I honestly expected for most of the season.

Not bad for a bad year with arguably our top team sitting out a suspension.
things are looking good, but a few things still need to happen:

Tulsa MUST win their last two including a game at Memphis (not easy) and one in tourney

Cincy MUST win at Houston (not easy)

Temple MUST win their last three and one in the tourney

Uconn MUST avoid a bad loss

if those happen, you SHOULD see all four dancing. Although i wouldn't be shocked if all the above happened and we only get two in, with the other two as NIT 1 seeds. Committee hates this league, which is unfair.

Great summary of the current status.

Not exactly correct. Cincinnati has to beat SMU and avoid a loss this weekend to ECU. Temple and Tulsa winning out should lock up a bid for them.

Outside of Dayton and St. Joe's, the A-10's bubble teams are vastly inferior. The last few bids are probably going to come down those two conferences.

Once you start to move away from the actual RPI number you realize that teams in the American have better resumes than most of the bubble.

You've gotten Lebo's attention

Memphis has quit
USAToday now projects Tulsa as 10 seed in. Temple and Cincinnati last four in. Yes I know some don't care, but things are changing if Tulsa keeps winning.

USAToday bracket projection
Id be happy with 3 considering that really means would have been a 4 bid league were it not for SMU's issues. If we get 4 into the tournament with SMU on the sidelines, that would be a flat incredible performance by the AAC--and tacit admission that our teams were competing in essentially a 5 bid league this year. That said, we have nobody on the committee, so I'm completely prepared for the normal annual AAC 1 or 2-bid screw job.
If four are projected, I agree that would mean only 3 make it. It would take a miracle for the Committee to give the AAC four bids. Too much P5 bias there.
