Any wku fans coming down to Murfreesboro, should leave early and avoid Nashville rush hour traffic, avoid the construction mess and take Briley Parkway around to I-24 or even better come down 109 to 840 and avoid I-24.
WKU is due to start putting together 40 minutes of good basketball. It's been a long year for the Tops. They are close. Tonight couldn't possibly be a better staring point to gain some sort of momentum.

I hope you do too, The Herd needs as much help as it can get on the home stretch. We play the other top 4 teams and two of those are on the road. The Herd still controls their own destiny, but a little help and a couple upsets would be nice.
There are 20 WKU fans here right now, maybe 25... Maybe the rest are stuck in traffic or something but that plus our failure of a performance vs UAB means a pitiful crowd for Mt vs WKU... Sigh. I know WKU is down but come on UAB had five times as many fans.

So you are upset with the visiting team's fan for what you call a pitiful crowd at a home game?

I mean our crowd is almost as big as UAB game from Sunday, but it's just sad how few WKU fans are here. We may have 6000 or so announced and less than 50 of those are WKU fans. I remember the days when they would bring 2 full sections of fans and now there are maybe two full rows of them... Our fans were late arriving as usual. Atmosphere could be so much better if there were actually WKU fans

Few people are going to travel 100 miles through Nashville rush hour traffic to get to a 6:00 tipoff, especially those who don't get off 'til 4 or 5 o'clock. I saw the time for the tip and just thought surely that was a typo. Of course UAB had more on a Sunday afternoon game.

We had fans scattered in seven sections. ;-)
Looked empty on TV. Not near as many fans total as there were for our game at MTSU.
Surprised by the outcome.
6pm on Thursday women vs MTSU at home. You all didn't bring over 50-75 to Bowling Green.
