JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 18, 2016) – ETSU football head coach Carl Torbush and the Buccaneers announced key dates for the upcoming spring season on Friday. The Bucs open spring practice on Thursday, Feb. 25 and wrap up with the Mountain States Health Alliance Spring Game on Saturday, April 2.

FEBRUARY 25 – FIRST DAY OF SPRING PRACTICE

Practice will be held from 3:45-5:45 p.m. on the practice fields located near the CPA
The Bucs are tentatively scheduled to have five practices before spring break and wrap up with nine practices leading up to the Spring Game
Practices will be held outside on the practice field unless weather forces practice to be moved inside the MSHA Athletic Center. Please stay tuned to @ETSUFootball on Twitter for any schedule changes
Practices are open to the public and Coach Torbush will be available for media interviews before practice, while he and players will also have media availability at the conclusion of practice
MARCH – SEASON TICKET RENEWALS

The ETSU Ticket Office will begin the season ticket renewal process in early March and will run through the month of April

MARCH 18-19 – APPALACHIAN ORTHOPAEDICS COACHES CLINIC / STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING CLINIC

The clinics will be held inside the MSHA Athletic Center (Mini Dome)

MARCH 24 – BLUE/GOLD SCRIMMAGE (CITIZENS BANK STADIUM – ELIZABETHTON)

Kickoff is slated for 6:30 p.m.
The scrimmage is free and open to the general public
APRIL 1 – FOOTBALL LETTERMEN GOLF OUTING / DINNER

The event will begin with a round of golf beginning at 1 p.m., at Pine Oaks Golf Club
Following golf, a dinner will be held at Yee-Haw Brewing Company at 6:30 p.m.

LADIES’ FOOTBALL CLINIC

The clinic will be held the morning before the Mountain States Health Alliance Spring Game
The clinic will begin at 8 a.m., inside the MSHA Athletic Center (Mini Dome)

MSHA SPRING GAME

Kickoff is set for 1 p.m., at Kermit Tipton Stadium
The game is free and open to the public
YOUTH CLINIC

The Youth Clinic will be held after the Spring Game. Children will be able to run drills and interact with ETSU coaches and players after the scrimmage.
The clinic is free for children ages 6-thru-12
