Anyone know what it is? And if it's any good, bad, or typical for this level of basketball? Hopefully if he leaves we at least get a decent chunk of money.

It would be interesting to know length & terms. I figure we will be lucky to keep three years UNLESS he wants to build a "legacy" program here in Little Rock.

I think that is the key. It doesn't happen often, but it does happen, that a coach likes a city and a school and just wants to be there. And it isn't like he is starving or anything.

Someone FOI'd this a while back. Pretty sure I remember that the buyout was not very high, but there was a home and home clause in the contract if he left for a big school.

How long is his contract? At some point they will extend it, and to do that I figure they have to re-negotiate it, right? And if Chasse has any sense he will make it a lot harder for Beard to leave.

200K after the first year. 150K after the second. Goes down significantly after that.
