I am glad we have a New Orleans connection. New Orleans is a football first type of city, and they put out a number of high major prospects every year. I would compare New Orleans HS football recruiting to Memphis HS basketball recruiting.

Except that Memphis gets its fair share of the high major Bball recruits while Tulane obviously gets none of the football.

He drinks, cusses, and can recruit so at least 3 of our fans' coaching requirements are checked.

Hiring Brother Martin's head coach cannot hurt.
Unfortunately, NO (public schools & some private) has a difficult time qualifying its athletes for entrance in most D-1 schools. And that will be a major consideration related to where many of those kids go to school.
