Deshawn Watkins is the heir apparent, but the backup position might be wide open.
Deondre Burns has played some there this season, but not at crunch times. Josh and Jermaine will be gone. Ryan Pippins will be coming in, and he's a true point guard.
But I doubt a Freshman will get that much time next season unless he's really super.
It is possible we'll still sign someone. Of course, Marcus was an All American point guard in juco, so he could compete for the starting job at that position. Guess coach will figure it all out. He's done a pretty darn good job this season with not much recruiting time when he arrived. Think what he could do with a full season to recruit.
