RIP Mr. Reilly

So sorry to hear that. Will be praying for his family.
Was an asset to me and Mitch. I'll miss seeing him. I wish he could have beaten cancer one more time to see UAB football return in 2017. Prayers for the family.
Many that did not know him personally, do not know what he went through, even outside of his illness, during the McGee era and then with the shutdown of football.

I'm happy he was able to see the result of our fight to bring it back.

Norm was a great friend to me and really helped me down my career path. He will be missed dearly.
So sorry to hear about Norm's passing. A good guy in the world of college sports.
RIP. Thougbts and prayers.
This on the same day Cosmo's announced its closing.

It's a sad day to be a Blazer.

Godspeed, Norm.
Sad day for many. Norm was a great guy, who loved UAB and worked hard to get the message out. He will be sorely missed.

Prayers to Leslie and the boys.
I hope all the people who have been bad-mouthing Norm over the past several years have had a chance to read some of the condolences from around the country from high-profile people in sports talking about what a great guy he was and how good he was at his job.

Some of you people have no freaking clue what a tough gig that is, especially at UAB.

Let's not start a pissing contest in this thread, please.
RIP, Mr Reilly
I had no idea he had cancer since 2007. Amazing that he was able to battle it for so long. A true hero.

Stage 4 in '07. Truly remarkable.
Nice tributes at the bottom of the article.

Gonna miss Norm. If life is measured by the number of people you touch, he gets an A+ from looking at all the comments on social media.
Very nice tribute at halftime by fox network and CUSA
Thoughts and prayers.
RIP.
