I had the privledge of visiting the U of L campus for the first time this week with my daughter.

I am excited to announce that my daughter has been accepted to the College of Business as a Freshman in the Countries finest and only Equine business Program (not agriculture but business, screw you uk04-cheers04-cheers.

As a proud FSU alumni I can now, with good conscience, contribute funds to one of the best ACC additions.

Go Cards!!

I am gonna need some of u Cards to help with my first trip to U of L vs FSU best practices on 9/17/16. Gonna be torn with my daughter rooting for the other team in student section while I sit in the FSU section with mama and my son.
Congratulations to your daughter and your family. Welcome to The 'Ville.

Quit horsing around! U of L may have the best program, but there are other equine business programs in the USA.
(Sorry, I can't resist a good pun!)

In all seriousness, congratulations!

Thanks for the congrats.

On a side note we did do some research on the Equine education programs in the USA and what we found is that all most all, for the exception of some 2 year equine programs, are in the Agriculture school, not the business school. U of L was the premier program due to getting your degree from the Business school as opposed to the Agriculture school. Which we find to be significant should she want to venture a little farther from the barn.

But appreciate the congrats.

Lenville, absolutely we would like to get some help on the equine business contacts. As we get closer to her heading up (August). I will reach out to you.

I am gonna see if I can figure out the email feature on this site and shoot you a note with my contact info.

Thanks for the gesture.

Don't read by post as raining on your parade. Puns are my weakness, and I just really, really wanted to make the "horsing around" pun. I honestly don't know anything about equine business programs, but UL sounds like they're on top of their game. And, if your daughter is interested in that line of work, I imagine the Louisville area of Kentucky is the best possible place to be. I hope she's out-of-her-mind excited. She should be! Actually, so should you. 04-cheers

Once again, congratulations.

I can't make any guarantees but I'll help when I can. Does she know what part of the equine business or discipline that she wants to get into? Breeding, racing, training, eventing, western, saddle seat, hunter/jumpers, etc?
Congrats to your daughter. It's a good school, a nice city and a great college sports town if you are into them. We have really good football, men's basketball, ladies basketball, soccer, baseball and volleyball. There is almost always a game of some kind going on and except for the football and basketball the rest are almost always free admission (other than tourneys or rival games against UK). The campus has grown so much that I don't even recognize it any more after having graduated from there and teaching there. And they have some great housing setups now.
