Bizarre quarter. UT started out unable to his the broad side of northeast Ohio, and KSU took a 9-0 lead.
Rockets scored the next 9, in great part thanks to KSU committing 8 fouls in the quarter. Rockets shooting 4-16 from the field. KSU 7-14. Fortunately, Rockets 8-8 from the line.
Offense starting to click Rockets up 29-19. Ana with 7, Printz & Jay-Ann with 6 each.
Defense has been pretty poor at times though. Have given up several easy layups.

Cullop had to call 2 timeouts and make a few substitutions in order to get the Rockets back on track-----but they and at present hold a 10 point lead. McIntyre having another good game--particularly rebounding.

Pretty poor half all around, and yet are up by 8, which says more about KSU than UT I think.
Janice had a really tough half, 0-7 shooting, and not too good other than that. McIntyre had a good half on the boards with 6, but had a real tough time on D. Got exposed in different ways several times.
Halee was the bright spot of the half. 10 points, and settled the offense at time, ran the floor well on the break.
Media TO, and the Rockets still haven't scored in the 3rd. Lead down to 3. Bravo-Harriott to the line after the TO.
Really bad performance by the Rockets so far. Can't make a shot. Luckily, Kent State is very bad. Janice has been our best player the past few games, but not tonight.

Janice's 3 game romp has definitely come to an end today
Well Kent may not be bad enough. Game tied at the end of 3. Rockets with only 11 points in the quarter. KSU stopped fouling, so the free throws have kinda evened out now.
Kent State is absolutely the worst team in the MAC with a conference record 1-9, yet the Rockets are making look like a competitive team. No excuse whatever to lose at Kent.
McIntyre a steal and coast to coast!
