There is no way to fix it. It's time to put The Pro Bowl out of it's misery. The game has become a complete joke.

Maybe when the NFL expands its regular season to 17 games, they will finally end the PRO Bowl.
Agreed, its the worst game on the NFL schedule. The NFL may do better scheduling a celebrity game before or after the Super Bowl. Even a 7-on-7 contest would be a risk for injury and even incidental collisions.
Why don't they just turn it into a fun weekend in Hawaii for the players selected to the teams?? AFTER the Super Bowl.

That way Hawaii can still get some limelight and investment.

And maybe they can play a college all-star game that weekend, too. With the pro players doing media events, helping out charities, school/hospital visits, etc.
Looks like its headed that way.
Agree. When you see opposing lineman essentially standing up and fronting one another like a badly choreographed dance routine, it's time to shut it down. Former players drafting the teams...time to shut it down.
With the Super Bowl on its way next season, Houston is making a bid to host the Pro Bowl the week before. As the O.P. suggests, the game shouldn't exist at all at this point but if it does it shouldn't leave Hawai'i, certainly not for Houston as much as I love the place. Las Vegas should be the only alternative imo and there's too much negative publicity to be had by playing it there.
If you want to keep helping Honolulu (not a bad thing IMO) move the NFL AWARDS there.

OR

Remember the QB competition, and the RB competitions they used to have? Bring those back, and put them in Hawaii.
The pro bowl was after the super bowl for most of its exit angle. That won't change it. They've tried the pro bowl at the super bowl host site. Didn't change it. The pro bowl is what it is. A vacation for those who earned it, and as bad as the game is, still draws on tv better than most anything else that day.
