Yes, but this time I don't see the establishment either winning or settling on Trump or Cruz. They won't give up and there are a lot splitting delegates.

well, the proportional assignment of delegates isn't helping much, and I get your point that half the vote has been for the other-than-establishment-candidate.

I just think this will settle down soon. I'm not saying who, but it will settle down.
Not sure, but it'll go at least into April.

If the rest of the debate was as entertaining as these botched up introductions, it might have been the most fun debate yet.
Carson standing there like a deer in the headlights, and messing up the line, looked so clueless. I understand the crowd noise was loud, but he didn't know the order he was supposed to be in when just about everybody else did? Trump stood around as well. Weird.

Rubio looked bad early. Christie got blood and kept attacking. Christie did pretty well. Jeb actually did too. Trump was calmer than normal. Cruz just didn't want to make any big gaffes here. Kasich should be running for the Democratic nomination.

The post-debate "coverage" on ABC was laughable. They were desperately promoting Kasich and talking about how he had won. They're so out of touch it is pitiful. The crew ABC had for their "analysis" was such an oddball group of misfits as to be embarrassing. Not one journalist from ABC within a mile of the stage.

If Christie can't get a serious showing in the NH primary after that then he has to feel he's done. Carson says he isn't going anywhere...and he's right. He'll keep his core voters but won't add to it. Longer he stays in hurts Cruz.

For what it's worth, they might as well have just added Fiorina in there tonight. One more would not have hurt, and considering how much the liberal media supposedly are pro-woman, surprised they kept Carly under their self-imposed glass ceiling. Ironic.

He just got major points from me for doing that. The left goes crazy with accusations of discrimination against Islam while ignoring the war on Christianity. A Muslim got money for having drive beer by saying it was against his religion. Meanwhile, the Little Sisters of the Poor have to scrimmage against big government.

one day it would be nice for someone to explain why religion matters in scope...

you people biatch about so many things that are a direct result of opinion.....and that's all ANY RELIGION is...

it's sad how the average person doesn't understand that in scope....

the brainwashed cult continues to thrive across the board.....

Establishment has come to terms with Trump and will accept him over Cruz.
I like when Trump tells Jeb to STFU and Jeb STFU.

I know, right? the guy is sexy on paper. great accomplishments. but he's just a goofball.

I think people are expecting him to stand out in these debates and while he does not make serious gaffes, his style evidently is not attractive.

Honestly..Last night I thought he did a pretty good job. He hit a couple of the questions out of the park...especially what his plan for the first 100 days would be. He is a quirky guy with a odd sense of humor..but..I believe he would probably make a good POTUS. He is unquestionably the most experienced guy in the group. He like Christie are getting overshadowed by Trump. Take him away and both would get traction.
I think the top 2 after last night are Trump and Cruz. Don't see that changing in SC or NV either. Hopefully a lot of these people start dropping out next week.

Probably correct. I thought this was the best performance for Christie and Kasich..and I doubt it helped either of them much. Trump is just on a roll and overshadowing everyone else with his personna.
