I'd say 2 out of 3 of the Ron Paul people I know in the serious grassroots network he still has running are going to cross over and vote for Bernie Sanders in the Democrat Primary in SC, with the hopes of getting Trump vs Sanders for maximum third party opportunity for Gary Johnson. The disgust at no major party options so early in the process is real.
Y'all are going to **** around and get Bernie elected. Way to be a dipshit.

If you cheered for ECU like you do the Republicans, every ECU loss would be because fans of other teams didn't show up to cheer on ECU, regardless of what they did on the field.

A tough price to pay if that goal actually panned out: We see Johnson get more respectable numbers than expected, but at the cost of either loose cannon Trump or a socialist in the White House for 4 or more years.

Bernie elected wouldn't mean a cataclysmic shift to the left on economics. He will never be able to get single payer or a $15 minimum wage through congress. He might be able to break up the banks and reign in defense spending and reign in the government on the civil liberties front.

Honestly, I would vote for him before I vote for Hillary.

It will never happen, though. The south and California as well as the super delegates will ensure that Hillary is the nominee.

Is that much worse than what we're going to get otherwise? You see some great savior out there in the rest of the "field"?

Johnson would still lose and you would be left with one of the two worst choices...

Good job Ron Paul people!

Look throw your vote in the general away if you like but don't prevent the other parties from putting forth their least damaging candidate.

I kinda have to agree with blunderbuss. When you play these type of games, you always get something worse than even you imagined....unless, that is indeed what you actually want.

Try it with me:

Obama can't ____________ without Congressional approval. That would be unconstitutional. (wait a bit) OH no, he did it anyway.

1 - This is not a game
2 - What you're doing is akin to hoping your team can beat the other guys after you sabotage their charter bus so only the cheerleaders show up.

Crossing over in a primary is ethically fine if your goal is to get the other guys party to elect a less damaging person then they would otherwise elect.

I may caucus with the dems in Minnesota if it's tight enough just to keep the socialist off the ballot.
1%? Too bad the grassroots leaders are backing Cruz.
I could see it if it was Rand or Ron but Johnson? no dice.
So.....we're talking about what....a couple hundred people? 03-lol

vote in the general anyway if you like but don't prevent the other parties from putting forth their least damaging candidate.

Bull, I'm modifying your original statement a little...

This... I don't care if you're Republican or Democrat, but if you're not going to support the candidate you're voting for.. DON'T f--- with the party you're not going to vote with in the general. (yes, I know in open primaries, you can vote for whomever you want).

Hey, I'm not going to live in this house that I'm looking at, but I'm going to wreck it anyway for the people who are moving in.
Bernie and Trump aren't the President we need.

They ARE the President we deserve though.

Bernie will never be elected, period. Trump maybe.

Look what Trump did to Jeb. He would destroy Bernie.

My thoughts exactly. We're talking about Hildawg's victory in SC dropping from 65/35 to 64/36. Even still, I would hope the Ron/Rand supporters would be smarter than to actually vote for someone that is the antithesis of what they support and believe.
empty calories. the 14 libertarians/Libertarians in SC won't cause so much as a microscopic blip on the radar.
Just keep giving Libertarianism a bad name and insure they stay marginal. Way to go.
