This might backfire and result in an opening for Bloomberg.

Quote:Gary doesn’t give up. Ever.
• He turned a one-man handyman operation into the state's largest
construction company.
• As Governor, he was elected against the odds, and then re-elected.
• He stopped overspending by vetoing more spending bills than any other
Governor.
• He is an accomplished triathlete who has climbed the highest peak on each
of the 7 continents.
• He placed third in the 2012 Presidential race with the highest number of
votes for a Libertarian candidate in history.

wtf does any of the above have to do with running this country?

I'll give him credit on bullet point 3. (and to a lesser extent #1 (that's what got Trump's people fired up...look at his business saavy!))

But totally agree with you on everything else, why even put the rest of that crap on the "why you should vote for me" list.

Supposedly, Biden's reconsidering putting his name on the ballot as an independent too now.

I doubt it happens. A shame, I'm no Uncle Joe fan, but he'd be more tolerable than Bern or Hill.
According to Jim Talent (he was on the radio when he mentioned this yesterday), so I take it with a grain of salt, because he's definitely "anti-Trump, anti-Sanders, AND anti-Hillary", Biden's got I believe up to 60 days before the conventions to change his mind and jump in as independent.
Could you imagine Sanders and Trump getting their respective nominations, Bloomberg jumps in, and then Johnson somehow gets on the debate stage? It would be one of the craziest elections in US history, if not the most.
