First there's 3 TU's, now we have two FB coaches with the same last name. Probably has something to do with going from C-USA to The American. Too many redundancies.

This was one of the more boring ones they have produced, Ruff's were better.

LOL at the used car salesmen comment. Looks like they tore up so Bojangles. :)

Also - who is that nerdy white dude...he sticks out like a sore thumb.

Ha, exactly. In truth, recruits like to be courted, so some will enjoy the high energy, fake excitement. Sorry, but when Coach MO points to Shannon Moore and says that this guy got in done on the recruiting trail in front of the other coaches I cringed. He might as well have said," And this salesman sold 3 Ford Escapes to three old people who could not afford the payments, but who cares, we made the sale."

I would hate working for a guy like this. To each their own.

I think some of it was just playing it up for the cameras/theming it as a car dealership.

Agree, he was hamming it up. I have seen Coach Mo in a much more authentic way. For me and my own preference it is a bit to car salesman. Other however, will think this is great. To each their own. Cheers.
Listened to him speak last night at the SportWorks Ministry banquet. Pretty much the same enthusiasm as was in the video. Not sure why him having a ton of energy correlates automatically to him "hamming it up". If you watch the video from practice he has that same energy as well.

It is a much needed jolt into a stagnant football program. Old staffs energy wore off around year three.

Because he's black? I don't follow. He's nothing like Ruff.

What? Explain. Ruff's recruiting and team records were good for most years. Holding a helmet above your head and acting like you are motivating the furniture sales force before the doors open at 9 means nothing.

I can stand there and do the same thing but it will have nothing to do with winning games.

Yeah ruff was killing it with recruiting ranks in the 80s and 90s. Lol

No I'd rather not get into an argument with a Ruff Hugger. That was just my opinion. Lol I just said he had much more energy and I liked that. I mean we ARE trying to sell something. He's trying to sell ECU to everyone and anyone that will listen.

And yea you could stand there and do the same thing, so could I, and anyone else for that matter. But we're not football coaches so what's your point?

Don't quite understand how you don't see it. He does has a little bit of Ruff in him. And not because he is black. (Can't believe you said that) His mannerism and his personality is similar to Ruff. Go back and listen to press conference when he was hired. Lot of similarities are there.
