At Monroe +2, +5
At UL +2, even
At Ga State +1, +5

That is where RealTimeRPI and Sagarin put us in the 3-game road stretch. Three killer games in eight days.

Agreed that three game road stretch is critical. As you point out, it might well define the difference between an fantastically unbelievably unreal great regular season from just a unbelievably great regular season!
Lose all three of them (perish the thought), or even two of three, and the season becomes entirely different.

Lose 2, the only thing it really blows up is our at-large NCAA hopes which was a long shot anyway. We would be, at worst, tied for first and an automatic NIT bid with a favorable schedule ahead. We would still be in the driver's seat for the double-bye.

I do agree that losing all 3 could change things a great deal. More than anything our confidence and expectation that we will win every game we play.

I find it hard to imagine this team will lose 3 in a row. I really see all 3 of these games, on the road, as basically toss-ups. We are not that much better than any of those teams. But, I like the toughness, attitude, and unselfishness of this team- this may be enough to eke out close wins on the road. Still sweeping all 3 of those would be a pretty amazing feat. If you offered me 2 out of 3, right now, I'd take it.

But it could affect our mental attitude, and more important, other teams' view of us. Blood in the water.
