I worked in medical billing for a few years. It's a bizarre industry, with lots of gray areas. That said, this seems pretty brazen, and compounding pharmacies can be pretty squirrely operations. 99% or more of us don't need anything that can't be grabbed off a shelf at K&B Drugs and sold at a reasonable price.
USM is turning into a shady program quickly.
Sucks about the weight room but glad to see the feds doing something about these cheats.

The weight room is not being funded by this. The nutrition center is and may still be. I do know part of the money was given up front. The duff family is the locker room and much of the weight room.
The last person you should listen to for anything related to us is that asshat that does the patriot site. He has a clear agenda against the school. I once tried to give him some info on a certain umm supporter of our mayor that was tied to the bond issue attempt in 04. He quickly went into a rant about the school. His is a rebel flag waiver if that tells you where his loyalites lie.
Just 6 weeks ago, a connection of his gave the guys child to our womens coach that she wanted to be a ball girl for a game. The kid was selected for one of the december games. The girls GA handles that item every game and sends out emails to te participants. The kid was supposed to be at rgc an hour before tip off for instructions and her tshirt.
The mom (hp's wife) shows up in the MIDDLE of the first half. Goes to the bench to get the GA to tell her what the child should do. The GA having duties during the game cant leave the bench area. So the mom causes a scene. Leaves and gets the patriot guy on the phone who fires an email to McGillis claiming his wife and daughter had been humiliated and he would NEVER GIVE A DIME TO USM. Well he have has to begin with so i guess we didnt lose a damn thing.
The GA handiled it very well they made another night for the kid to do the ball girl thing. Only this time the mom dropped her off and refused to come in.
He has a clear agenda against us and anyone associated with us. Thats why he is doing his damnedest to pin this whole thing on Brett.

True. The funds in question have been removed, new funding secured and all is a go now. No sympathy for those milking our vets in this sham. If guilty, I hope they get many years on the government meal plan.

Personally, I see it as a counterbalance against the fact that, at any given moment, Medicare, various Medicaid programs, Humana, etc. are probably ripping off doctors and pharmacists to the tune of millions, too. There's a give and take, and the fact that some pill-pusher wound up in court isn't going to bring down Southern Miss or Brett Favre.

Fact of the matter is, what happened is bad. People are going to go to jail over it. People that probably didn't realize what was really going on. This also has no connection to USM, other then some of the people involved may root for Southern Miss.
I'm in the medical field, and have known about this for years. The FBI have been investigating this for at least 2 years (when they first came to my place of business, looking for one of my employees that had information). I know more then I would like about the situation, the issues, people involved, the actions in questions, ect.
If you would like to know information about it, please feel free to message me and we can talk about it in private. Otherwise, it's probably not a good idea to not imply rumor as fact.
