Goodwin, the Tigers’ third-leading scorer (12.5 points per game) and second-leading rebounder (8.5 rpg), was the American Athletic Conference’s Sportsmanship Award recipient as a junior last season.
Last Tuesday against Tulane, he was removed from the Tigers' starting lineup by Pastner as part of disciplinary measures stemming from what Pastner called an "internal matter." He still played 33 minutes off the bench in that game.
