Nice to see Taylor Adway in the game.
Rockets 80 Broncos 44, timeout Western, 5:39 to play.
What a difference from the WMU team we saw a couple years ago.
UT 82 WMU 47, under 4 timeout. Adway with a bucket.
Rockets' bench comes out to mid-court to great Taylor Adway and the rest of the unit for playing really well.

They have not won a league-road game. Sad.
Chandler White checks in.
Garber has at least 10 rebounds.
Fred John Jr with a bucket for the Rockets.
Rockets win 89-62!!!
Great to see a good old fashioned butt whooping

Proud of the Rockets and that bounce back in a "must win" game! Got contributions from everybody, some through offense, some by rebounding, some with defense. Best game since Akron, and maybe the most complete game we've played this season. Defensive intensity at the beginning of the game was a pleasant surprise. True, Western isn't the same minus Tava, but Wilder is a talent so this game was a toss-up going in. Nice way to end that 3-game losing streak and begin the road trip. We're catching Kent State just as they lost a couple players to injury, and we owe Buffalo a better game...let's see what happens.
Great job Rockets! They needed that one! Good to see everyone contribute and even Taylor Adway and Fred John scored!
Jon Jon led the way but everyone pretty much had a nice game. Nice shooting by everyone (except Sanford --he was the only one who had a cold shooting night; everyone else had a hot hand), good D, took care of the ball (nice TO/Assist ratio), excellent rebounding (owned the boards), no slump or loss of momentum during the course of the game ---the best WMU could do was that small run at the end of the first half and even then Jon Jon finished the final 5 seconds of the half with that driving coast to coast score to keep the momentum in tact----pretty much a compete game with consistently high level play through out the entire game.

Put them away early and kept the accelerator to floor so they never got a chance to crawl back into the game. Refreshing to see. Nice way to close out the current home stand and hopefully recapture some momentum.
They finally credited Sanford with a blocked shot after about five they never gave him.
I watched most of the game on espn3 and WMU's shots just didnt fall. We checked out and kept them from getting more than one look. We played hungry! WMU played some of the worst D we have played this far and for the most part we knocked down open shots. Navigato coming in hot from 3 was huge. Jon Jon played under control outside of the turnover to start the game. Boothe had an awesome double double in about half of the shots he usually takes. Lauf looked like a D1 athlete tonight as well. Now it's on the road we go!
The back door cuts that have just killed us in the past just didn't happen last night. Wilder got a layup on one and they only tried a couple others, one of which Jon Jon defended brilliantly and got a steal and another that Sanford tipped away, lob maybe? Can't recall any more. They use to run those all day with Whittington, Tavares and Brown. If I read correctly, Hamond had 65 points in their last three games. Got four last night, all in garbage time.
who were those guys in the Rocket uni's last night?

I'd like to believe that is the question but I fear that the question is "Who were those guys in Bronco unis last night?".
