Based on the current roster of returnees, December signees, and current commits as of today (realizing that all may not sign Wed, and we may add others) the spring 2016 roster by class would include;

10 freshmen
11 sophomores
39 juniors
4 seniors

This includes 7 known walkons, several of whom would have been among the top.rated signees in some previous UAB recruiting classes.

It appears that if these all stick (they wont) we can sign a class of at least 25 next year. Im guessing the 2017 class will be loaded with preferred walk ons, high school players, JUCO sophomores, and graduate transfers. If we sign a junior in 2017 he will be a stellar talent.
Also, based on the 247 composite and the Rivals site, the current roster plus commits will include.

2 Four Star players
27 Three Star players (maybe more once all are rated...this includes transfers such as Tyler Jones, the former Memphis player, as well as the young men from Louisville and NC State).

This roster is insanely talented - on paper - compared.to our past teams. And we get to train them for a year, and add another full signing class. We are signing big ,big bodies all over the roster (except perhaps at running back...no Jordan Howard type yet).

This roster has the makings of a Boise State type team. Ill be surprised if we find an SEC team who will want to play us in 2018.

On paper it's going to be the best team we've ever put together. If you follow some of them on twitter you see once they get here they completely buy into the system and what Clark and the other coaches are teaching them. It goes well beyond football. These kids want to be led and taught.
