You guys need to set it as your goal to pick up where Burn The Horse left off and become the definitive source for Trojan information. I like your site a lot. Keep it up.

Just sent invite to a lot of friends on Facebook to like Rock City Sports on their FB pages
Awesome! It's a great page.
Thanks guys, appreciate it.

The website itself is http://www.RockCitySports.com, the domain itself is relatively new, it is a spin out of our Rock City Life publication.

Up this week I am going to start a new monthly series where Chasse and I sit down and talk about the athletic program as a whole. We chatted last week and will cover the move to Little Rock's team and his thoughts on Trojan Football.

Also working on a sit down with Lis Shoshi. He has an interesting story, didn't play organized basketball until recently.

Let me know if there is anything you guys want to see.
Great! Any recruiting information is always appreciated, also.
Really excited to hear what he says about football!
GregH, Thanks for your coverage of Trojan Basketball. Hope you will also cover the other "Little Rock" teams.

We will start up baseball coverage next week and some basic coverage of the other spring sports.

We then are looking at some non-UALR sports like the new soccer team, kickball league, rowing, and possibly rugby and polo. I still have not decided on covering the Travs.

The Travelers need some love too. The Democrap doesn't do them justice either.

Yeah, the real problem is that there are so many games and the players move in and out frequently. I am sure we will, I just need to sit down with the staff and see what level of access we will have.

There's a new soccer team? Pro? Semi-pro?

Thanks. Really disappointing that they are playing at War Memorial Stadium. Atmosphere is everything and they won't have it at War Memorial. Wish they had worked with UALR to use their soccer field. Could have added a few 100 seats and it would have been perfect.

I had been hoping we could get an NPSL team, but what were they thinking when they signed up to play in a 55,000 seat stadium.
Thanks again to Rock City Sports for your blog work. It helped make a good season even better.

No problem. Next athletic season will be even better. We have opened a few publications at this point, everything is intentionally slow to get a feel for what type of articles people want to read.

Next season we will add another writer or two in the mix and expand coverage to all Trojan sports and more non-university around the city.
