Can't wait till noon EST for this epic battle. UAB has obviously been the cream of the conference this yr., with just the one crack in conf. play against WKU. MU has been somewhat of a miracle for Herd fans, hoping to just compete this season and somehow squeak towards a .500 record and just not be horrid. Yet D'Antoni's system, as well as his players improving by leaps and bounds after the PG-Elmore became eligible and became the general that they were lacking, is working beyond most MU fans' wildest dreams. A tough test today to be sure, and nothing but respect for UAB always. They're the class of CUSA till proven otherwise. Hurry up clock, 6 1/2 hrs. seems like too long dammit'! Hope for a great game!

Was not a goal tend, that was underneath the basket.

That foul happened obviously, but they usually don't call those with 5 seconds left in the game and no way to overturn it by review.

Odd. I didn't see Herd fans bitching about the no-call on UAB's possession before that.

Wow really? Maybe you should not close your eyes when Marshall was getting the calls and no calls?

UAB has not seen the bonus in over a week and I love it when a guy gets hammered and a travel is called but no foul. You can thank the officials for staying in the game.

Geez. I expect similar crying when we bring football back in 17. It's coming.

That was a clean block if you happened to watch the replay and not go solely off of butthurt feelings.

Brown was also fouled on his drive before the last possession.

Marshall did not get screwed.

This game was tainted by the end. If you can't see that I don't know what to tell you.

UAB came to play. Shame the only thing I and everyone else will remember is the tainted end to an otherwise great game. (You will notice it was not only Marshall fans who thought that was a bull way to end the game)

What did you think about the Brown no-call?

lol this is why I'm beginning to hate all college sports. It's never the athletes' faults, it's always the refs, coaches, fans, the field/court, etc.

That's a societal thing...nothing is ever anyone's fault...

Also horrible for UAB, but cmon man, not nearly as egregious as

-reversing possession after TWO TIME OUTS
-failing to acknowledge the only reason the ball clearly left off Marshall was that there was an obvious foul

I mean cmon, do you think seriously you all would not feel equally robbed had this happened to you?

I am specifically referencing the fact that other fans from schools with no affiliation to Marshall or UAB have commented that the end was bull.

At the end of the day, there were calls missed on both sides. UAB led from the 9:04 mark in the first half. It wasn't like it was a back and forth game with lead changes. The game fluctuated between a 1-10 point lead for UAB. All this in spite of the lopsided fouls called the entire game. UAB never got to the bonus. Marshall got to the double bonus in both halves quickly. We'll be waiting for you guys in bartow. Marshall is going to develop into a top team in this league and that's where they belong.

Well said. UAB is looking really tough, will be a battle come tourney time.

I think all the UAB posters would feel exactly like all of us had the same happened to them.
