In all seriousness. No matter what happens to the millionaire 30-something year old coach - there is a lot of heart and raw talent on this team. I feel bad for them given the situation with the media, coach, and fans.
Who doesn't? Well, there's one guy, but besides him who doesn't?
Indeed. And he is and will be a multi-millionaire
I don't. They came out and flat out didn't hustle in first half and as the usually reticent Jason Smith said "were jogging on defense". They have a great deal at UofM and need to earn their keep. Not the first time either. Based on past experience with certain members of this team, I would not doubt too much partying going on Saturdat night.

After watching USF beat Houston the day before you would think they would realize you cannot half ass it in a game against anyone.
I don't feel bad for the players, either. They're men who are expected to bust it, night in and night out. You win, you lose, whatever, but effort should always be there. The effort was very poor, especially in the first half. Looked like the guys believed they had a day off while playing that game.
Mailing it in; why were there not any changes made in game?
The same player beat us last year too.
Either Josh has poor memory, or everyone thought this game was going to be a cakewalk.

Older I get the more I realize they truly are just kids. Remember college? Were you a 'man' then? And as many things that can be said about CJP negatively, he is a guy I wouldn't think twice about sending my son to play for.
I don't. Life sucks, get a helmet.

A Tiger team with 'heart' doesn't get beat by ECU.

BAM. JP is not getting it done, but he isn't so bad that this team can't win. You saw Joe Jackson and company overcome some of JP's shortcomings.
I feel bad for every player that's worn the Tiger basketball uniform the last 7 years

Players do EXACTLY what the coach allows them to do on the court. Nothing more, nothing less.

Obviously Howdie Doodie does not value getting back on defense.

I hear ya, and understand your point. Was I a "man" in college? As much as thought so at that time, no. Then again, I didn't pay college hoops. These guys are expected to bring it every night. Winning and losing is one thing......effort should always be there.
