What brung us so far is half-court defense, free throw shooting and low turnovers. It is to this team's credit, however, that we have won several games when one or more of those factors were not working very well.
We have a lot of positives on this team. And sometimes when one of them isn't working, we find other to pull us through.
Interesting season.
We have a bunch of unselfish players. No "I" on this team. Coach deserves credit, but probably says more about the character of our kids. They don't seem to care who scores the most points or takes the most shots, as long as we win.
Can't remember watching a team with this many unselfish players. They definitely are a team, and play as a team.
And that's part of a coach's talent. Getting players to buy into that philosophy. You can have some talented players, but if they don't buy into a team philosophy, and are selfish players, you aren't normally going to have a real successful season.
