So the Lady Bucs had a rough loss tonight at Samford.

However, the biggest news IMO of the SoCon tonight was the fact that UTC's streak of conference wins (52) was broken by Mercer. The Mocs lost BAD 67-44. 04-jawdrop

Sadly our gals play Mercer down that way Saturday. I'm worried it's going to be a rough one.
The women pulled off a very narrow away win against Mercer yesterday. Chattanooga lost to Samford. This now ties us with Chattanooga at 4-2. Mercer, Samford and Furman all only have one conference loss each.

We play Chattanooga on Saturday the 30th, 2pm at Brooks. I'm pretty sure the Mocs are going to come off their two losses in a row looking to make a comeback, so get you and all your family and friends to the game if you can. We need a loud crowd showing support for the Lady Bucs, so they can hand the Mocs another loss.

I will make it to the game!

Malloree Schurr could really be a special player if she had 2-3 more inches of height. She is a contributor as it is with pure hustle and drive. Shades of Ben Rhoda.
Tianna is a great leader and athlete. She's not selfish, but she knows when she's able to do it better.

I've seen Coach Ezell even say that Shamauria is a streak shooter. When she's hot, no one can stop her, but if she hits a lull, it's hard for her to get back going. She's feisty though. Her ninja skills tracking down her "man" and leaping for the ball are always impressive to watch.

Malloree has shown SO much hustle this year. I've seen her dive after the ball like a volleyball player many, many times this year. Must be the softball player in her. I'm always holding my breath to make sure she's not hurt. Adriane Vaughan has a bit of that spunk in smaller doses.

This years freshman continue to impress me as they mature. They aren't quite there yet, but are going to be a tough group for the competition. Hopefully, by the end of the season, we will see more than glimpses of that.
