Well, I didn't win the powerball lottery, so I guess I'll start a thread. Hoping there are other NU fans around!

Really want to shake off the beat down we received in Williamsburg. They shut down our offense, and we were lost the entire game. It was the worst we've played all season. A win vs. JMU would surely turn things around. They were picked #2 in the pre-season and have been decent so far, but it's hard to judge so early into the conference season. Vegas has us at 5 point favorites.

The game at Delaware is a must win. They seem to be the worst team in the league at this point, and we can't afford a let down, especially after we beat them by 32 last week. I'll be able to attend on Saturday and see us play in person for the 2nd time this season (and last time until the CAA Tourney).

Is an at-large out of the picture at this point? Maybe. I don't think we pass the eye test, and if Miami loses a few more games, our marquee win isn't a impressive anymore. Live-RPI gives us an RPI under 40 if we go 16-2 in conference and lose in the tournament. Seems next to impossible, so I guess we'll just have to win down in Baltimore.

W&M is best bet at this point for an at large. Projected RPI under 40 if they go 14-4 and lose in the tournament.

Let's keep home court sacred, beat JMU!
Garbage first half similar to W&M. No ideas on offense, chucking up 3's.
The 3's in transition are a good shot because in general the players arent set under the basket and you get many offensive rebounds....except when everyone just runs back up the court on the shot. What are we doing?
Dirty play by JMU in a pretty clean game thus far. Wonder if this will give us a spark at the end
Oh, no flagrant, never mind. Officials reviewed that and no call? Ehhhhh
Two games in a row we've been cold from the field. We need a bigger inside presence. Green needs to play more. On to Delaware.
When did our team become so reliant on the 3? I know we've taken more this season in general, but to start the conference season it's been ridiculous. Have other teams figured out how to guard us?

I believe we've been a bit unlucky, since a lot of the 3's are good shots that just haven't been falling, but it's still a little concerning to see our inside game seeming fall apart. Zach Stahl has been shut down and I think that's played a big role.

I liked what I saw from TJ yesterday. I think he and Miller had very good games.
Our offense looks much more efficient when we run the ball through Zach Stahl. He had a great game today.

Missed a lot of open looks in the 1st half, and were down by 4 at half time. Made our shots in the 2nd half and won the game. Rebounding is a concern, but Miller was out most of the game due to foul trouble. We got a road win and that's important any day in CAA play.
