Hopefully the first of many accomplishments for the young man.
Te scary part is that AW2's career receiving records will likely get broken by TWO current members of this team.

I think a lot of folks really forget how young we are as a program. Hopefully we have a eventful winter and spring workouts.
Very happy to have 4 QBs in winter workouts this week. That was my biggest concern.

Mine as well.
Well deserved, congrats to him.
Just imagine what kind of numbers he could put up next year if we make teams respect our running game, like, at all...
The kids got juice. Well deserved recognition.

Well in fairness, it makes sense that a career record, even by a player as good as Wilson, would get broken fairly early. Ya'll haven't had the time as a program to have players that establish an achievement that is once in a lifetime.

Arbuckle is pretty close though, he set a high bar to measure up to.

Hart was definitely a bright spot on your team this year. I haven't found much to be jealous of in your recruiting, except for WR's. Ya'll have found guys that are fast in space, run very good routes, and have great use of their hands.
Albert Wilson finished in Top 30 in NCAA history in All- Purpose yards. Receiving wise he finished with 175 receptions for 3190 yards and 23 TDs. I for one thought those records might have stood 8 or 10 years. But I never thought we would have two receivers like Robert Davis (155) and Penny Hart (71) start as true Freshmen and play at such a high level. Even Donovan Harden who only played 2 years for us and missed 4 games this year finished his career with 99 receptions. Albert is still more impressive though considering he was doubled every game and had horrible QBs throwing to him and only caught 19 passes as a Freshman.

Indeed, there was a time that Albert Wilson on a reverse was the best thing we could hope for as Panther fans. Pretty much every play.
Just imagine how easy having this receiving corps is gonna make it for whoever wins the job. I don't see any drop-off.

WR: Hart, Davis, Boyd, Myers (and maybe Glenn Smith back in the slot if we have enough RB depth)
TE: Rucker, Werts, Atkinson, Teknipp as a blocker/ST guy
RB: Bateman, Neal, Kirk, Dorn, Anderson

Marquan Greene is a shiftable guy and a wild card but has great athleticism. Interesting to see where he'll end up on offense

It's looking pretty good. I think the running backs are capable if they have some breathing room, but the receivers should be dynamite.
