The Mean Green are 6-9 on the season, 1-1 in conference. They are our travel partner, having beaten UTSA and losing to UTEP, both on the road. They are very deep with 10 players averaging 10+ minutes a game. One of those has since been kicked off the team. They shoot well with 48% overall, and 34% from three. However, they are terrible at the line with a .595 pct. Their 7-1 post, Brice, is a 35% FT shooter. He usually comes off the bench and is a good shot blocker. Their leading scorer is J-Mychal Reese, a 6-2 guard. He's only .295 from three. Another big man at 6-7, Jeremy Combs is their #3 scorer and shoots 56% from the field, but only .505 from the line. He is their other shot blocker. JaMichael Brown, a 6-1 freshman guard, is their #4 scorer and shoots 44% from three, but only 38% from the line. This seems to be a winnable game if we can play some D. We need to get our first win of 2016.

Bob, the problem with this is that we really only play 7 deep (given Smith gets very few minutes), and that doesn't afford us the luxury of a strategy of fouling (to take advantage of their primary weakness).
UNT is a 1 pt favorite for today's game.
I'll settle for the last meeting with the Mean Green.
